Carleton College is idealistic through and through, facilitating an imaginative learning experience (N). The mentoring relationship between student and professor seems to take on the closeness evident in typical parent child, family relationships. Humor is very much valued on this campus. It serves to promote a comfortable familiarity between faculty and student.
