California Institute of Technology: Compatibility with Personality Types and Preferences

California Institute of Technology is more than a university; rather it seems more like a national and world scientific resource. As such, Cal Tech must regularly communicate with prospective high school students and world research scientists.They specifically reach out to current high school students who may be good matches for their rather unique learning environment.
Analysis (T) is predominant in this campus culture. It is hard to imagine how the extreme and fundamental nature of Cal Tech research could push into scientific discovery without having almost institutionalized the tool of analysis.
Of course, innovation and the pull of the unknown (N) has the next place of honor in approaching education. Cal Tech’s mission clearly states that human knowledge is expanded to benefit society by combining research and education.
